What is self-storage?
Simply put, it is a garage in a secure development that can be rented on a month-to month basis that can be used to store anything from extra household odds and ends, business tools and consumables, to boats and caravans
Do I have to reserve a unit before I get there?
No, however it is advisable to contact our team beforehand to confirm availability of the size you require.
What if I need to move-in now?
You can move in immediately after the requirements have been met (one month deposit and first month’s rent paid up front. The process of booking a unit takes roughly 10 to 15 minutes.
What are the store hours?
Monday to Sunday – 6am to 6:00pm
After hours access can be arranged in advance with the caretaker.
I don’t know what unit size to choose?
We recommend consulting with your moving company as they can advise on a size.
Alternatively, you can visit the unit to get a better understanding of the space.
How high is it inside my storage unit?
Most of our units are 3 metres high. The best practice is to check with our staff before you choose your unit.
Are my goods safe and secure?
We ensure there is a large range of security features at our stores, ranging from CCTV cameras to electric fences and access control systems.
Can I store anything I want?
We would like you to store anything you need but there are some restrictions. Items which we have identified as hazardous and/or not suitable for self-storage, and which we do not allow our customers to store in our secure storage facilities are:
- toxic, pollutants or contaminated goods
- firearms, munitions or explosives
- radioactive materials
- hazardous goods
- living plants or animals
- food or perishable goods
- cash and securities
- illegal goods
- waste
What do I need to book a unit?
Firstly, you will need to decide on a unit size and date of occupation.
Once you have done so, our team will confirm availability and send you a Tenant Profile along with an invoice (first months rental and deposit).
You will need to complete the tenant profile and return it to us with the following:
If you are booking in your personal capacity:
Certified copy of your ID
Proof of payment
If you are booking under a company:
Certified copy of the directors ID
Company CK documents
Company VAT certificate
Proof of payment
Once the above has been received, you will be provided with the lease agreement to be signed.
How long is the lease?
The leases are month to month and may be cancelled by either party with one calendar month’s notice.
